SPRING RECREATION FAQs

Spring Recreation

 

The season starts the middle of March and ends mid May.  Everything will take place on Saturday’s starting in the morning.  The session starts with 20-25 minutes of training then ends with 20-25 minutes of game play.  The whole session is run by a professional trainer.  We ask for volunteer coaches to help with team communication and substitution during game play.

            Q: What will my child need for these sessions?

            A: Every child needs to bring a ball, shin guards and  spikes/turf shoes.

 

            Q: What size ball will my child use?

            A: Ages 3-7 will use a size 3 ball, 8-12 will use a size 4    ball.

 

            Q: Where will games be played?

          A: Games for the spring season are played at our turf field– 330 Collins Lane.

 

FALL RECREATION FAQS

 

This season is our biggest season.  The season starts the beginning of August and ends mid November.  There will be one night of training each week with a professional trainer.  In addition to training, a volunteer coach schedules a second night for practice.  Typically practices end once games begin, older groups will go into October with the second practice night - all teams/ages vary.  Games will be played on Saturday mornings for all age groups.  We may have a make up game on a Thursday or Friday night.

            A: Every child needs to bring a ball, shin guards and spikes/turf shoes.

 

            Q: What size ball will my child use?

            A: Ages 3-7 will use a size 3 ball, 8-12 will use a size 4 ball.

 

            Q: When will games start?

            A: We typically start games the saturday after Labor Day Weekend.

 

            Q: Where will games be played?

            A: Games for the fall season are played at Main Street Field - 895 E Main Street.

 

INDOOR RECREATION FAQS

 

This season typically begins the first Saturday after New Years.  This is a Saturday only league.  Every team will be allotted an hour.  The first 25-30 minutes will be training with a professional trainer, last 25-30 minutes will be the game portion.  The season will end the beginning on March (weather permitting).

 

            Q: What will my child need for practices/training?

            A: Every child needs to bring a ball, shin guards and sneakers/turf shoes.

 

            Q: What size ball will my child use?

            A: Ages 3-7 will use a size 3 ball, 8-12 will use a size 4 ball.

 

Futsal (ages 8 and up) will take place Thursday or Fridays depending on registration numbers
